about

Traditional. "La Femme..." is from a 1930s recording about a woman who had bad habits of drinking whiskey, playing cards, and smoking cigarettes, and lost her boyfriend because of it. It's followed by a medley of two Cajun tunes learned from Canray Fontenot.

lyrics

Tu m’as repondu, tu preferais me quitter moi
